BLAST has announced Meet Boston as the official destination partner for the upcoming Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2026 Boston Major - the first Major of the new competitive season.
The RLCS Boston Major is the first arena event in the 2026 competitive calendar and will bring together 16 of the world’s best Rocket League teams as they compete for a share of the $354,000 prize pool and all-important ranking points.
Taking place from February 19-22 at the Agganis Arena, within the Boston University campus, the four day spectacle will culminate in two days of live arena competition in front of a packed arena. The Major will feature four North American teams and is expected to attract thousands of attendees from across the United States.
As part of the partnership, Meet Boston will be fully integrated across the event broadcast, with prominent digital and physical branding including in-broadcast advertisements, printed backdrops, and sponsored on-site areas.
Bringing the RLCS Major to Boston builds on the city’s momentum as a top-tier destination for esports and live entertainment, while showcasing Boston to a global audience of fans.
James Woollard, VP Destinations & Market Development at BLAST said:
“With a proven track record of hosting world-class sporting and entertainment events, partnering with Meet Boston allows us to showcase the city to a global audience while creating lasting value for the local economy and community. We’re excited to work together to make the RLCS Boston Major a standout event on the competitive calendar.
