If you want a C4SH setup that just keeps going without stopping, this Gambit-style build is the one I’ve had the most success with in Borderlands 4.

This build revolves around Sleight of Hand, Fortune stacks, and Windfall. The idea is simple. Build Fortune, trigger Windfall, and get all your cards and duration back.
When set up right, Sleight of Hand barely drops. You keep cycling cards and dealing constant elemental damage without waiting around.
You start by stacking Fortune through skills and elemental hits. Once Windfall triggers, your cards get refunded based on how many stacks you had.
With the right augments, especially Furious Fingers, this keeps repeating.
You need to split points between Sleight of Hand and Cleromancy. The first gives you damage and card flow, the second keeps your cooldowns under control and helps trigger Windfall more often.

Pick skills that increase reload speed, Fortune generation, and cooldown recovery. Go for Fast Hands, Go for Broke, Around the Corner, Payout, and No Limit. Hot Streak is also very useful because it guarantees crits when you gain Fortune.
This is where you fix uptime. Luck be a Robot and O Fortuna both scale really well with Fortune stacks. Ready to Roll helps extend your skill time without breaking the loop.
Keep a few points in Can’t Stop Winning to trigger Windfall from crits.
Furious Fingers is the core of this build. It restores Sleight of Hand charges and adds constant elemental pressure.
Thunder the Table helps with cooldown and adds lightning damage. Cowboy gives you strong area damage and corrosion, which helps in tougher fights.

Start fights by building Fortune quickly. Use elemental weapons to speed this up. Activate Sleight of Hand and watch for Windfall. Once it triggers, keep throwing cards, but don’t waste them all at once. Timing matters more than spamming.
One thing I learned the hard way is not to stretch Windfall too long. If it stays active while you run out of cards, the loop breaks, and you lose momentum. Let it reset naturally, then start again.
You don’t need perfect gear for this build. That’s one reason I like it. Any decent weapon works, but elemental guns make a big difference because they build Fortune faster. Use a Repkit with low cooldown and some elemental bonuses.
If you get the Whale class mod, it boosts damage a lot by converting cooldown stats into damage. It has a downside tied to kills, but Windfall ignores that, so you still keep your flow.

Focus on Daredevil first. Push it to level 20 and unlock all passives. After that, you can go into Survivor for defense or Killer for more damage.
