Lance went above and beyond to give us the most annoying fetch-quests possible with the Headwinds update. He apparently loves to get us running from one edge of a map to another.

Here is our ARC Raiders quest guide for On Deaf Ears, and why you might be having trouble completing it (don’t worry, you’re not alone).

Head off to Stella Montis and you’ll be able to complete the first step, finding the researcher’s logs, at the lobby’s main floor, below the Security Bridge. Just interact with the computer behind the desk on the area where my character is and you’ll have the first step completed.

For the second step you need to go to the Business Center’s Auditorium. From the first computer’s location, run to the bottom left corner of the lobby, go up to the top floor, and you’ll find a door to the Business Center there.
Interact with the computer behind the desk near the Auditorium wall and you’ll be ready for step three in our On Deaf Ears quest guide.

And now we have to go to Medical Research, because Lance really wants us to get our cardio in. There are multiple computers in the area that work for this, use the first one you’ll find, otherwise, just use the one where my character is located in the screenshot above, in the Medical Research’s main floor.

This is where things get tricky. This last step in our quest guide for On Deaf Ears is technically as easy as any other. Head into the Assembly Workshops, go to the second floor and you’ll find a box with documents on top of the desk in the corner, as highlighted above.
If things work as they should, all you need to do is Search the box and you’ll be done. Unfortunately, this isn’t working for a lot of people, including me. I only managed to complete this step on the fourth or fifth try. I’m not entirely sure if this is due to a bug or if only the first player to interact with it can complete the step.
In case you’re running into the same problem, I recommend bringing in a Hatch Key, looting the entire area and leaving on the nearby hatch and just going again. You’ll eventually complete the step, you just have to get a bit lucky.
