What is the one thing better than a wonderkid in Football Manager? A bargain wonderkid.
In this list, we've put together a list of some of the biggest bargain wonderkids you can find in Football Manager 26, from a Left Winger playing over in Senegal to a Georgian Left Back who will run the left side of your team for 15 years or more.
A wonderkid so good that we named him as the best Left Back wonderkid in FM26, Saba Kharebashvili is a Georgian playing for Dinamo Tbilisi when your game begins.
At just 16 years of age, Kharebashvili is already an exceptional and versatile Left Back. He has 14 Crossing, which makes him excellent as a flying Wing Back, but can also be used as an Inside Wing Back thanks to his 15 Passing and 13 Positioning.
Even better still, Kharebashvili is only on a youth contract at the start of the game - meaning you can sign him for a compensation fee of £1.4m straight away. Sadly, though, you'll have to wait until January 2027 for him to arrive at your club, he needs to turn 18 before he can actually make the move.

Available for just 300k due to the compensation you'll have to pay, Diouf is a well-rounded Left Winger who can be utilised in any of the Winger roles, but is best used as an inverting player thanks to his decent Finishing and Long Shots.
He develops quickly, so whilst he may not be ready to play for your team straight away, one loan move or two will be enough for him to become a handy rotation option.

Up next we have the first of two players from FC Tokyo, Japanese Centre Back Kanta Doi.
At the start of your game, Doi has a £3.6m release clause - that will get triggered if you don't do it- but if you turn off the first transfer window, he will also be available to sign on a free transfer thanks to his contract expiring on January 31st, 2026.
Already a technically gifted defender, Doi will instantly be a solid rotation option for top division clubs, or can become a rock at the heart of defences for teams in second divisions looking to break their way into the big leagues.

A versatile winger capable of playing on either flank, he is also reasonably two-footed, so can be used in whatever role you decide to put him in. Tawaratsumida also doesn't really have a bad attribute anywhere, meaning that he will excel whether you use him as a creative influence or as a goal threat.
He'll be available for around £5m at the start of your game, or, like Doi, will be available on a free transfer if you have the first window turned off.

Fans of the Bundesliga will be familiar with the name Lennart Karl already, he scored a screamer for Bayern Munich to get his first goal for the club in a 3-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach.
A talented Attacking Midfielder with a mean left foot, Karl can be used either on the right wing or through the middle, just as long as whatever you do allows him to put his 15 Long Shots to good use.
Although you may struggle to sign him for a club with a low reputation, at just £5m, we couldn't not put Karl on our list of bargain wonderkids in Football Manager 26.
Photo: Sports InteractiveWe're upping the value for our next FM26 bargain wonderkid - but at £8m, Chelsea's Josh Acheampong is an absolute steal.
Capable of playing anywhere along your defence thanks to his strong weak foot, Acheampong is a defender best utilised in the traditional way - focusing on defending.
If you want a player who is going to bomb down the flanks on the overlap, the England u21 player probably isn't your man, but if you like the Inside Full Back role, look no further than Acheampong for your team.

Photo: Sports InteractiveThe penultimate player on our list of cheap wonderkids in Football Manager 26 might look expensive at £12m, but thanks to his contract expiring at the end of your first season, it's possible to sign him for absolutely nothing.
Inter's Luka Topalovic is a Slovenian Attacking Mdifielder with solid attributes in every area, especially his 14 Off The Ball, Passing, and Flair.
Best utilised in either the Attacking Midfielder or Second Striker roles, whilst Topalovic can be used as your main creative outlet, his strong finishing ability also means he can be effectively utilised playing off your main striker and scoring important goals.
Photo: Sports InteractiveThe final name on our list of bargain FM26 wonderkids is also the most expensive, but given his relatively low value compared to other and the fact he also featured on our list of the best wonderkids in FM26, we couldn't not include him.
Rayan is an 18 year old Right Winger playing for Vasco Da Gama (VDG) in his native Brazil. One of the rare breed of Right Wingers whose main trait is cutting inside and using his wand of a left foot to devastating effect, he's best used as an Inside Forward and scoring plenty of goals.
Available for between £12.5-18m at the start of your game, he isn't exactly cheap, but considering how good he can be - he's certainly a bargain.
