Chapter 14, Time To Die, is one of the longest missions in 007 First Light. Bond heads to Vietnam to track down Damien, but the mission quickly turns into a rescue operation after planting Q-Traks on multiple targets.
Along the way, you will need to sneak through restricted areas, take down enemies, save allies, and finish off one of the game's biggest boss fights.
How to complete Chapter 14 Time To Die in 007 First Light
Go to the Pearl and inspect the villa
After the opening cutscene, follow the objective marker to the dock at the Pearl. A concierge will guide you to your villa.
Go upstairs and open the package inside the bedroom. Equip the special glasses and head to the marked location to observe the surroundings. Before leaving, inspect the Bourbon bottle on the table and the Shh! buds on the counter.
Once done, head downstairs, leave the villa, and speak with the concierge. Follow her to the reception and scan the guest ledger after talking to the staff member.
Plant Q-Traks on Ellis White
From the reception, take the left path before turning right to reach the bar area. Continue along the left path until you find two guards blocking the main route.
Instead of going through them, vault over the railing on the right to reach Ellis White. Walk close to him to trigger a cutscene.
After it ends, follow Jonty to the bar and speak with the bartender. Select the "Order off menu" dialogue option so the bartender leaves.
Sneak behind the counter and turn on the hose to distract the workers. While they are looking away, grab the Ocean View bar minibar key and climb over the lockers to leave the area.
Meet Jonty again and return to Ellis White. Open the minibar and prepare a Tequila Slammer. Bond will automatically plant the Q-Traks during this interaction.
Plant Q-Traks on Theresa Lorca
Go back to the bar area and follow the left-side path. At the next junction, turn right and head upstairs toward the Serenity Space.
The staff will stop you from entering, so use another route instead. Walk down the nearby stairs, continue right, then climb the rock beside the direction sign.
Follow this path until you reach Theresa Lorca. A cutscene will play, and Bond will secretly plant the Q-Traks.
Plant Q-Traks on Ramon Hernandez
Return from the Serenity Space and head to the nearby Lotus bar. Listen to the conversation at the counter to learn that Ramon Hernandez is staying at the Hung Villa.
Before entering, you need a yoga instructor disguise.
Walk left from the Lotus bar and continue downhill until you reach the Tranquility Cave. Enter, go upstairs, and look to the left for a laptop. Use the Q-Watch to hack it and play loud music.
A worker will enter the yoga storage room to investigate. Stay hidden until he leaves, then collect the blue yoga mat.
Leave the cave, travel to the Hung Villa, head upstairs, and interact with Ramon Hernandez. Bond will plant the final Q-Traks during the conversation.
Reach Theresa Lorca's villa
After planting all three Q-Traks, head to the next objective and speak with Moneypenny. Choose "Doing okay over there?" to continue.
Travel to Theresa Lorca's villa. Since the front entrance is locked, vault over the wall on the left side to enter and trigger another cutscene.
Wear the bow tie
Complete the quick-time events to wear the bow tie. Some prompts allow any button choice, while others require pressing the displayed buttons in the correct order.
After finishing, leave the villa and head toward the party.
Infiltrate the Emperor Villa
Meet Ramon Hernandez at the party before Moneypenny contacts Bond and asks him to check on Theresa immediately.
Follow the objective marker to the Emperor Villa.
Go left near the parked SUVs and climb the rocks to reach the upper area. Drop down and silently eliminate the first guard. Another enemy will investigate, allowing you to take him out quietly as well.
Continue clearing the enemies. You can use nearby explosives to deal damage more easily. Once the area is secure, climb the stairs on the left side of the villa to reach the rooftop.
Save Ellis White
After the cutscene, perform a takedown through the rooftop window.
Move into the bathroom and wait for a guard to walk behind the bed before silently taking him out. Eliminate the second guard and activate the nearby speaker to lure more enemies inside.
Deal with the incoming guards, then climb down using the ladder. Open the nearby door and force open the main entrance to reach the wine cellar.
Defeat the two enemies waiting there and approach Ellis White.
When the cutscene ends, Ellis mistakes Bond for an enemy. Defeat him in the short hand-to-hand fight to complete this section.
Save Theresa Lorca
Leave through the opening ahead and move along the ledges to reach the next combat area.
Clear the enemies near the bar and collect their weapons if needed. Continue toward the objective while eliminating the remaining guards.
Eventually, you will face Murto.
To defeat him, throw nearby objects whenever he prepares a red grab attack. This will stagger him and create an opening for your own grab attack. Repeat the process until the fight ends.
Murto returns for another round shortly afterward. Use the same strategy until he is defeated, then escape through the nearby window.
Stall Damien
During the next conversation, choose these dialogue options.
- MI6 knows everything.
- This is all your father's fault.
- Don't do this.
These choices keep Damien talking and allow the story to continue.
Reach Greenway
Activate the Q-Lense and lock onto enemy targets.
Once they are marked, press the required button so Greenway can shoot them. Continue moving toward the objective while marking enemies for him.
Pursue Damien
Cross the gap using the blue pipe and continue fighting through the area.
Prioritize the snipers whenever possible and shoot explosive objects or fuel tanks to clear groups of enemies faster.
Eventually, you will reach a mining truck. Eliminate the nearby enemy and drive the truck to rescue Greenway.
When the vehicle breaks down, use the sniper rifle to defend Greenway while he repairs it. Destroy explosive objects to finish the encounter more quickly.
After restarting the truck, continue forward until another cutscene begins.
Follow the path, climb down, cross the pipes, jump over the railing, and continue until you finally reach Damien.
Defeat Damien
The fight takes place in two main phases.
During the first phase, throw nearby objects to stagger Damien. Once he is stunned, hit him three times. Repeat this until the next phase starts.
In the second phase, lure Damien close to the floodlights around the arena. Activate the lights to stun him, then attack twice.
Repeat this process several times. Later, Damien begins using his gun, but the same strategy still works.
After the final cutscene, complete the last quick-time event to defeat Damien and finish the mission.
With Damien defeated, Bond reunites with Greenway, bringing Chapter 14 to an end. The story then moves on to Chapter 15, Man Of The Hour.
