Twins reunite: Imperial announce LUCAS1 to play at Fall Showdown
G2 having cousins on their team has worked out well for them, so Imperial will be hoping for the recreate that strength following the announcement than HEN1's twin brother LUCAS1 will be turning out for them at Americas Fall Showdown.
LUCAS1 steps in
The announcement comes alongside the news that the team will bench JOTA following a disappointing period for the team.
Having played just two events, the IEM Cologne Play-In, from which they failed to advance to the mainstage, and ESL Pro League Season 18, where they fell early in the Group Stage, Imperial hope this move can turn their form around in the Showdown.

It will be the first time LUCAS1 has featured on a team in over a year. His last active stint was a very short spell with 00NATION where he was made inactive after just a month in October 2021.
Imperial are set to kick off their Fall Showdown campaign on October 4th with a game against TheMongolz. The Brazilian side will be looking to repeat their Spring Showdown campaign.
