With online qualifier rounds for the BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 now being over, we finally know the names of the teams that will go head-to-head in regional LAN RMRs in order to claim the 24 desired spots at the first CS:GO Major to be held in France.
The qualifiers have been quite a ride, no short of upsets and surprises, so let’s take a look at the list of teams who secured their spots at BLAST.tv Paris Major RMRs.
The Old Continent is looking at a strong yet diverse team composition, as all of the top European teams managed to punch their RMR tickets without difficulties. Arguably the only notable upset this time were Copenhagen Flames, who failed to qualify after placing last in Closed Qualifier A.
Meanwhile, there’s an abundance of newcomer teams such as B8, Viperio, Apeks, Monte, Aurora, 500, and others who will attend Major RMRs for the first time, so expect a load of stirring and fun-to-watch matches.
●Qualified via IEM Rio Major 2022: Outsiders, MOUZ, Fnatic, NaVi, Bad News Eagles, Sprout, FaZe Clan

Safe to say that the most notable upset or BLAST.tv Paris Major online qualifiers were Evil Geniuses, who fell short of advancing by one position on the NA Closed Qualifier leaderboard. This will mark EG’s first missed RMRs since their first Major showing at PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
On the flip side, a big surprise turned out to be the relatively new Brazilian squad LOS + oNe, who defeated EG in the seventh-place decider match to snatch the last ticket to Mexico.
●Qualified via IEM Rio Major 2022: FURIA Esports, Team Liquid
●Qualified via NA Closed Qualifier: paiN Gaming, Complexity Gaming, MIBR, yur, Detonate, Nouns Esports, TeamoNe
●Qualified via SA Closed Qualifier: BESTIA, Imperial Esports, Fluxo, Flamengo Esports, Paquetá Gaming, Fuscão 1500, 00NATION
While the top Asian teams like IHC, Rare Atom, or Grayhound succeeded in Closed Qualifiers according to expectations, there was one more team expected to appear on the Asian RMR line-up: Lynn Vision, currently the second-best team in Valve’s Regional Standings for Asia.
Instead, TYLOO beat their way through the lower bracket of the Chinese Closed Qualifier with just one map loss to take that RMR sport from Lynn.
●Qualified via Closed Qualifier: IHC Esports (Asia), Eruption (Asia), Grayhound Gaming (Oceania), VERTEX ESC (Oceania), Rare Atom (China), TYLOO (China), TBD (Middle East), TBD (Middle East)
The complete team composition of Asian RMR is yet to be determined with the conclusion of online qualifiers for the Middle East region:
Middle Eastern Open Qualifier: February 22 - 23
Middle Eastern Closed Qualifier: February 24 - 26
