Despite zonic saying that the current Falcons squad would have "a fair chance" in his new Falcons project, it seems that chance was short-lived as the Saudi organisation has benched four of it's players.
Long-standing member NBK- has been given the chop, as have fellow Frenchman bodyy and newer signings lauNX and mhL.
Only BOROS now remains active from the squad prior to zonic's joining.
Three of the four benched players had only joined the team earlier in 2023.
bodyy joined the team when it was still a French team, replacing hAdji as the organisation looked to become the only French team at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
Unfortunately failing in that endeavour meant the Major was without French representatives, and the resulting disappointment meant that Falcons looked to rejuvenate their roster.
The arrivals of lauNX from Sprout, mhL from Endpoint, and Major quarter-finalist BOROS turned the team international, but as bodyy put it on Twitter, the move didn't turn out as planned.
As for incoming signings, the signing of Magisk seems nailed on for Falcons. The Danish rifler has already been removed from Vitality's active roster and should link back up with zonic in the near future.
Another report has stated that Snappi will be joining his compatriot to be the in-game leader of the ambitious project.
1pv.fr also claimed that NiKo was set to depart G2 for Falcons, but a sensational u-turn seems to have dashed hopes of that switch.
