Counter-Strike fans have been clamouring for a change to the map pool for a while now and today they have finally got their wish.
However, while those fans have all been asking for the removal of Inferno, Mirage, or Vertigo, it was actually Overpass that was removed.
Likewise, those players had also been hoping for the return of Train or the addition of a new map to the pool, but that wish hasn't been granted.
Instead, the most recent update to CS2 has returned classic Counter-Strike map Dust II to the Active Duty map pool - and fans aren't exactly thrilled by this change.
The change marks the first time since the IEM Rio Major 2022 that Dust II will be in the Active Duty map pool.
Following on from that Major, it was replaced by Anubis, which has since become a fan favourite following its addition to the game.
Dust II won't exactly be new to people who have been playing CS2 for a while, it was the first map available when the Limited Test began after the BLAST.tv Paris Major.
Unfortunately, the CS community hasn't reacted positively to this change, with many calling it the 'worst map pool of all time'.
G2's captain HooXi has had his say, saying that Overpass was the best map in the pool.
Thorin took us all the way back to 1.6 CPL tournaments to get his point across.
Former FaZe analyst innersh1ne took to Twitter to question Valve's sanity.
But at least device is happy to see Dust2 return... someone has to be, we guess.
