He is teammates with the two only French players at the BLAST.tv Paris Major and Vitality comes into Paris fresh off a win at IEM Rio.
So Spinx will not only carry high expectations but also know that the reward for playing in the Accor Arena would mean the power of the French crowd behind him.
The 22-yeard old Israeli superstar (or Crown Jewel as we called him in another article) believes that Vitality did not even peak at IEM Rio even though they beat World Number #1 Heroic 2-0 in the Grand Final.
“I don't think we peaked even at IEM Rio. I feel we can still perform better as a team, and I hope we can show it at the Major. We are doing everything we can,” Spinx told Blast.tv ahead of the Legends Stage.
The Israeli rifler says that Vitality obviously have “extra motivation to perform” on home soil, first of all “for my two French team mates [apEX & ZyWoO]” but “also for our French organization.”
But Spinx knows that no matches will be easy when competing at the pinnacle of CSGO tournaments, and even the last one in history.
“My goal for the Major is first of all to qualify and play in front of the French crowd. I think it will be the best feeling for me as a player in my career,” he told BLAST.tv.
Vitality qualified directly for the Legends Stage at the Major, and therefore enjoyed extra time of preparation heading into the event.
“It's a big boost to qualify for the Legends Stage, because it gives us more time to relax and prepare for the Major. We’ve had a short bootcamp before the Major,” Spinx said.
