The biggest losers
Photo: Michal KonkolENCE were overran by Monte on Ancient - a map they used to be so dominant on - before slipping to a 30 round loss on Anubis to Jerry's merry men, FORZE.
It was a bad day at the office - and the beauty of the Swiss system is that they have a few more days to right that perceived wrong. They will need to win three BO3s back-to-back, though.
They're not alone - they'll play one of the first elimination games tomorrow against iNation. The RMR newcomers have had a bit of a rough start, taking on BIG, then G2 and now being saddled with an 0-2 game against ENCE.
The other 0-2 game, however, is Astralis vs Team Spirit.
The Danes took Vitality to 30 rounds from a seemingly untenable position, but were split in half by Eternal Fire in the 0-1 game. That was despite a quiet game from XANTARES - it was IGL MAJ3R who took over on Vertigo.
Team Spirit, on the other hand, fell apart against their CIS brothers Aurora followed by a disappointing collapse against 500.
Not a great day for them.
The biggest winners
Photo: Michal KonkolSimilarly, the 2-0 teams would have been hard to predict.
Team Vitality taking down Astralis and NIP isn't too surprising, and Heroic standing tall to deny Aurora after dominating 500 was completely reasonable.
The other two teams being 9INE and Monte, though, maybe less predictable - but entirely deserved.
9INE ground out wins over G2 and BIG in 30+ rounds, while Monte made light work of both ENCE and Cloud9, interestingly.
Monte face Heroic tomorrow, while Vitality meet 9INE.

A lot of the games have already been mentioned, but a couple haven't. Cloud9 battered FORZE and NIP outclassed Eternal Fire.
