ENCE were soundly beaten by a rampant NIP team in the first game of Legends day three.
Brollan led the charge with 42 kills over the two maps as NIP ran over ENCE in both maps to secure a shot in the 2-2 games.
ENCE truly never got going in the Legends Stage after a dominant showing in the Challengers Stage, and will head home much earlier than most would have expected.
Maden told BLAST.tv yesterday that ENCE "didn't do our thing, didn't trust our teammates" in their loss to ITB, and the same issues were apparent today.
NIP were firmly in control from round one and in truth never looked like they would lose the game.
For them, it's very much the opposite of what BLAST.tv heard from them yesterday. headtr1ck spoke of a disconnected team who "didn't hear each other", but there was no dissidence from the team game plan today.
So, so close for Bad News Eagles.
BNE blew FaZe out on map one and looked set to take down the strangely subdued giant.
But when FaZe equalised the score at 15-15 on map two, there was a change in momentum, and suddenly karrigan's boys were in the ascendency.
They ran away with Inferno to put up a 12-3 half, but Bad News Eagles don't go down that easily.
BNE pulled off a heroic comeback and looked to have done the impossible - perhaps too grandiose a phrase, given their penchant for beating FaZe - but FaZe finally pulled it together at 14-14 to break the hearts of the Eagles, and their legion of fans back home.
FaZe survive to the 2-2 bracket.
